First off I should mention: (due to the exposed design and where I was living at the time), I pulled off the original gas cap about 6 years ago and replaced it with a 'Locking Cap'. Wondering if the original (make it tighter style), could make a difference? Anyway I'm in a 'Gated Community' now, so I'll pick up one of these:

The EVAP isn't the issue. I wouldn't consider it at all.

Never any problem while driving (yes it runs fine). No RPM fluctuation. BTW, WHERE is this Check Valve? Is that the Vapor Canister Purge Valve? Or is it part of the Fuel Pump?

The check valve is IN the fuel pump. A fuel pump replacement fixes the check valve issue. Do not do anything with the EVAP system yet, that's not the issue. Clear the codes and see if the TPS comes back, if it does, you need to do what I explained.

Thanx for all your the suggestions. Please know I'm still digesting all this to understand it. What I gather from your advice and others online, don't jump to conclusions and try trouble shooting first. I do have VOM's and equipment and perhaps the help of a Tutorial < here? Although from what I see online, the TPS Sensor replacement cost is minimal (Mopar On Sale)! From your previous detailed description, you appeared to have other/different issues with your 2003 Wrangler? So I'm still trying to understand the correlation to my issue? Patience... And of course I'm open to corrections ... And here's also some additional information

I will set aside the 'Evap' Issue
I will consider Fuel Pump Replacement OUCH!
