2005 Jeep TJ for sale. I bought it in 2018 in San Diego, CA, from a dealer. It was previously an Arizona Jeep. When I bought it, it had a spring spacer lift and 32's. No other modifications. I crawled underneath and there was not a single scrape. I upgraded it to hit some trails around the San Diego area. It never saw a whole lot of use and abuse. I never got serious enough to put a winch on it. We moved to Tennessee in 2022. It’s been garaged here ever since. No wheeling, no muddin’. I drive it to the shooting range 3-4 times a month (40 mile round trip), and to Walmart (15 mile round trip)

No rust. A/C blows cold. Engine is stock. Soft top is a Smittybuilt. It’s in good shape.

Upgrades:

Currie 4" lift. Currie Correctlync steering system. Currie front and rear track bars. Currie shock relocation brackets for rear axle. Currie Anti-Rock Sway Bar. Fox shocks.

35" BFG mud tires on 15x8 ProComp wheels. Smittybilt XRC front and rear bumpers + tire carrier. Oversize 7" Fender Flares installed 2024.

Teraflex Extreme short shaft kit/Slip Yoke Eliminator and Adams driveshaft. Savvy transfer case shift cable.

Dana 44 rear axle. Professionally installed Revolution 5.13 gears. Eaton E-locker in front axle. (Gears and e-locker installed by Pro Gear in San Diego, CA. Invoice available).

12oclock Labs SpeedoPRO Speedometer Calibrator (to adjust speedometer for gears and big tires)

Vanco Big Brake Kit + Black magic brake pads.

Skid Row skid plate; protects transmission and engine oil pans.

Oversized 7” fender flares installed in 2024.

Odyssey battery. Quadratec floor mats. Bartac seat covers. Bartac grab handles. Uniden CB radio.

Transmission filter and ATF changed around 70,000 miles. Oil changed regularly.

When I put the Smittybuilt bumpers on, it required dropping the gas tank, so I put a new Bosch fuel pump in, and fixed the notorious gas fill issue with the 2005-2006 Jeeps.

Front brake lines are YJ lines which are longer to accomodate the 4" lift. A trick I learned here on this forum, I think from Chris.

Original "Impact Orange" paint, which was only available in 2005-2006. Doors and fenders look really good, some scratches from bushes. Hood is still glossy, but paint has tiny cracks up close, and a little clear coat damage, probably from the engine heat and maybe from the Arizona sun where it spent 2005-2018. Hood also has dent that is hard to see in the photos.

It’s a solid rust-free, wreck-free Jeep with at least $15,000 in upgrades. I did all the labor myself except the re-gearing and the welding of brackets. Just needs a winch and some real rock sliders, if you plan on doing any serious wheeling.

$17,000 OBO.

I believe I have the Carfax from 2018. If I find it I will update this post. I also have a bunch more photos that disappeared that I will re-take and attach to this post.
