2006 4.0 water pump replacement: Anything else I should replace while I'm in there?

I've got quite a bit of coolant splash on the axle and frame rails on my 06 with 160k miles on it. I'm planning to replace the water pump with another Mopar pump.

Anything else I should replace while I'm in there?

Hoses, belt, thermostat etc?

I would do the thermostat for sure, and if you don't know the last time the radiator was replaced, I would replace that with an OE Mopar radiator as well.

I did the hoses, including for the heater. I also did the hard pipe for the heater, mine had a little corrosion. Check the temperature sensor too. How about the belt?

I'll do the belt for peace of mind. I already have coolant and the Prestone flush since I was going to flush it anyway. I'll put the Prestone to it before pulling the pump.

Peaking into the rad from the top I don't see any scale or deposits. What's the thought on replacing it just because?

Find a radiator shop in your area. Ask them to rod it, clean, pressure check it. No need to replace if all good. I did this and it was $20.00. If your replacing the pump, I would overhaul the system. Sensor, thermostat, all new hoses, and belt. Once the pumps off, you’ve done 75% of the job already.

I replaced all my other fuel lines on the top of the tank. Mine were old and rotted.
