Buddy of mine has a 2003 Jeep X.. 4.0 automatic with transmission issues, wants to swap his other rebuilt transmission out of his 2000 se automatic.. he wants to know if possible and if it is a direct bolt up? Yes I am asking for a friend...

You will need to swap out input shaft of the transfer case pretty sure 6 cylinder and 4 cylinder have different spline count on the out put shaft of the trans
