18" Rim thoughts?
33’s -15” rim - 4” liftHey guys,
So just got my wrap design done and about to install new fender on my 05 LJ.
Now for new rims and tires so 33 or 35? 18" Rim thoughts?

Hey guys… 18" Rim thoughts?
Do you wheel much? If not, it’s just a matter of preference. Otherwise, you’re much better off with a 15 Or 16 inch rim for a huge traction improvement off road
This! Are you planning to re-gear? Overdrive will be useless with either tire size. Even in Florida!33’s -15” rim - 4” lift
35’s - 17” rim - 5” lift
It doesn't look like it's built for 35s.Now for new rims and tires so 33 or 35? 18" Rim thoughts?
I think most are leaning 35" + 17"... though that said, you won't clear 35"s with only 2.5" of lift. You'll barely be able to clear 33"s with 2.5" of lift, though this will obviously be Mall Crawlin', so you can likely get away with it.So looking like everyone is leaning 33" and 17".
What would I have to do for 35"?
Current Config:
31" 17"
2.5" lift
Just ordered the Adams Heavy Duty Front/Rear Driveshafts

Thx Jerry! The Unlimited's longer wheelbase would make me choose 35" tires on a 17" wheel. For 35's my personal choice of lift would be a 4" suspension lift with a 1" to 1.25" body lift plus an upgraded tie rod at a minimum. The TJ's factory hollow tie rod won't last long with 35" tires.
$2300 It came out amazing! How much was the wrap
With my 2.5" lift I think I have decided on 33" on 17"I'd choose 33 to 17.
Vote #2 for 18s.$2300 It came out amazing!
Add a 1" to 1.25" body lift for those 33's. 2.5" of suspension lift is not enough by itself for 33's.With my 2.5" lift I think I have decided on 33" on 17"
