90 Degree Bend Transmission Hose

I would like to replace the rubber transmission oil cooler hose on my Jeep, and all of the replacement hoses I can find rated for transmission use come in straight rolls. The stock hose bends at a 90 degree angle at the end to connect to the bottom of the radiator, and I am worried that bending a straight hose that much would kink it.
Does anyone know where I can find a 3/8" transmission cooler hose with a 90 degree bend in it?

The only thing I can find like that is a PCV hose. Will that work?

The hose itself bends at a 90 degree angle, and the end connects to the bottom of the radiator cooler. There is a barb fitting screwed into the radiator that the hose connects to. Like this:

Normal 3/8" line can make that turn without an issue. Ignoring that mine goes the wrong direction you can see the bend is okay, at least I don't see a problem with it.

Did you ever figure out what to use for the hose? Crawling under Oreo this afternoon to spray PBLaster on the bolts in prep for a full exhaust system replacement, I see that mine is leaking at that same fitting as well ( no wonder it ran low on tranny fluid a few months ago ).

More info as well here - a PO had replaced the original radiator - and from what I can see of the barbs, they look to be smaller than the tubing ends under the engine where the hoses lead to - like 1/4” barbs and 3/8” steel tubing ends.

I can say that to solve the problem you mention, is to replace the straight barb with a 90 degree barb - the only issue being, are the barb threads in the radiator metric or SAE? Anyone know?

FWIW - just took a set of calipers to the fittings on the radiator side barbs and tubes coming from tranny - barbs measure .31 or 5/16”, tubes measured .380 ( very likely 3/8” as they are quite dirty). I also measured the tubes way back of the formed “flange“ In the tube which makes a push stop for sliding the hose on. That OD could be slightly smaller in diameter In the crazy wat that Jeep makes their various hose connections (I.e. - anyone has ever dealt with the vacuum lines around the engine will know what I’m talking about ).

I also noted that the loop that holds the “formed” line as it goes under the radiator was broken and not holding the line up away from the steering linkage - the result being that even turning left that hose Would snag and be pulled causing a strain on the hose where it connects to the barb. This is probably the cause for my leak.
