Still not sorted this dreaded immobiliser problem. It will start by crossing the starter motor with a screw driver but the key is dead , the dash lights don't dim when the key is turned but the radio light (with no code in ) does dim. Is there a wire that should be connected to get power from the key to the starter motor when the immobiliser is removed as it seem theres no power to the starter. All earths are ok .

Can anybody help please

Thanks John

Even when the Immobilizer is removed from the start circuit; the ECU still has Immobilizer function enabled which deactivates the starter function. You will need to either resolve the problem with the Immobilizer module/key OR replace the ECU with one of the appropriate year and engine with the Immobilizer function disabled.

Cheers for that, lve replaced the original ECU with a "Flagship 1" replacement that should be clear of any immobiliser function ?

Not familiar with Flagship replacements so I can not confirm the Immobilizer function will be disabled; that is something to confirm with the vendor or seller.
