Good evening to all. I am getting organized for the next annual maintenance coupon to my Tj. I am at 92k km around 57k miles. Last year I replaced all the oils except the gearbox, because I didn't know which one to buy. This year my friends gave me 3 liters of gearbox oil, but I don't know if it's good for my 6-speed manual gearbox because there is no word on the box: NSG370, much less I know if 3 liters is enough. What spark and cables could I buy instead of mine? . I enclose a picture of the oil that was given to me, hoping it will be good.

Hi, thank you for the answer, but they gave me this and I wouldn't want to throw it away, can it be used in my gearbox?

Yes, that will work. It's the same part number as the fluid specified for the NV3550 and the NSG370. I'd still go with Redline MTL, but your fluid will work.

The ms-9224 is what jeep recommends in their manual for your transmission. It should take about 1.5 L (about 1.67 quarts)

Yes, the redline is great stuff, I use it but, if you have it, use it.

Hello guys, thanks so much for the advice. At the moment I have 3 liters of mopar oil from the photos above. On my TJ I believe it has never been replaced in the change by the previous owners. So, for this year I'll insert the new mopar oil to clean the gearbox with new oil, and next year I'll think about replacing it and buying the redline. 😁 👍

That is exactly what I would do.
