Just pulled my front driveshaft. When the temperature is low it would chirp for the first half mile or so then it would get quiet. I bought a driveshaft from Adams just giving them my lift height and not measuring between yokes.

As you can see from the photo the stock shaft male splines start about 2 inches longer than the Adams shaft.

Is the Adams shaft the wrong length or am I gtg?

Strange they didn’t require measurements. Every shaft I have ever ordered I have measured and triple checked. Is the adams shaft extended/pulled out in the photo? Is it able to be run slightly extended? Usually there is a little bit of wiggle room with driveshafts, but I’m not familiar with their driveshafts.

You want around 2" of SPLINES exposed at ride height. That would be from the dust boot to the TAPER of the splines.

Try compressing both shafts and I think you will find they are not as far off as you think.
