If you go to their site and look at the instructions, it says that you shouldn't use mats unless you attach the hook that holds the mat still. I would assume that's their lawyers talking, but it seems like a good idea to move it over.

Mine is bedlined. It's okay. Like the other folks commented, it's a pain to keep clean and it fades. I've cleaned mine with a dish brush and then repainted with rustoleum flat black and it looks good as new. I think it's a decent inexpensive solution if you don't want carpet.
It does get hot and does get dirty. But some people spray their Jeep with a garden hose so if you are that type, then the dirt isn't a big deal.

I used Monstaliner and I'm mostly happy with the results, but it's already chipped in a few areas. The biggest being where the rear seat drops down and hits the wheel well. It's chipped on both sides because that seat moves around so much left-to-right, and then it falls (when I don't have it strapped up).
I am still glad I did it, because I was able to do a deep cleaning on the tub with a wire brush and vaccuum, then dish soap and water. Putting Monstaliner on by the roll bar bases, over the floor panels, and between the sides and tub of the Jeep at the rear help keep water out of the seams which could cause rust.
It took me I think four days last summer to do this. I don't know if I'd do it again. I spent so much time cleaning, prepping, then cleaning again, then more prep ... and it still chipped ... maybe two coats wasn't enough as they instructed? But I ran out and it was pretty humid so the stuff was getting thick.
I'll be putting new carpet in on top of this but I'm still glad it's down as a base.

Agreed. The BedTred is the closest I've seen to that thus far. We've become a nation of effete poseurs when somebody thought it was a good idea to put carpet in trucks and jeeps!

I must be the only one that does not mind the carpet, with good rubber fitted floor mats. My floor get's soooooooo hot no way would I remove it. I just removed mine and pressure washed it and put it back in and it looks like new. Now mine only has 40k miles so not sure what the carpet will look like after 100k miles. But I think if looks like crap I will end up buying replacement carpet.
The PO bed lined the tub of my Jeep and did a crappy job. I primed and painted the chipped areas, then put down BedTred then Weather Tech floor mats. I like it and it really cleaned it up.

Mine was lineXed by the previous owner. Heat is definitely a concern in the summer and road noise is more noticeable. Cleaning isn’t as big of a deal as people make it out to be, just shopvac any dust/ loose material then use foaming tire cleaner. Looks brand new.
