Well, lesson learned I suppose. The good thing is that a refurbished 4.0 isn't crazy expensive like the engines for some vehicles (my old M3 comes to mind). I know because I had to put a refurbished 4.0 in my old XJ.

It’s gonna run $1300-$1400 for me to pull the motor and get a rebuild done. Maybe I’ll throw a better cam in or something since they’ll have it apart.
