Air Filter Box?

Question: PO of my Jeep put one of those cone air filters and I wanna scrap it - but by putting the cone in, the box that holds the air filter is missing the top.

Where can I get a replacement top to the box so I can put a stock-style air filter in?

Also - which one should I get?

I would imagine the Fram Air Filter is fine. I use the K&N in my TJ.

Sweet lord that is allot of dough! I got that one from the PO. I would go with the FRAM.

Don't use KN or any type of oiled filter. All they do is cost money, require cleaning and let dust pass through. A paper filter is best.

I went through the same thing just weeks ago. I didn't have any of it so I bought it through car-part.com I've used them years ago when we owned our collision shop, and most all of these salvage yards are straight shooters. Good luck!

Looks like they have a complete box available around 108 miles away for $40.
