Airbag and audio help

Good morning everyone. I've recently acquired an 02 TJ and have begun to do some work on her. If y'all don't mind, I have a few questions...

The airbag light came on and the blower motor stopped working. After some reading I changed the ignition switch and all worked well for a couple of weeks. Then I hit a bump last night and the we're back to where we started. Can the plastic wire connector be replaced separately or would I need to buy the whole wiring harness?

Secondly, does anyone have experience with these speakers?

Years ago I was big into car audio and JL had a good name. I know a lot of folks on here like Polk, but if the JLs are like they used to be, I'll go that route. If the C2s are worth the extra money as well, please let me know.

I believe that plastic wire connector can be replaced separately, though I doubt the dealer still carries the part (not sure on the part number either), so you'd have to figure that one out.

The fact that it stopped working again after you hit a bump tells me it's more than likely just an electrical connection issue, which our Jeeps are known for in all honesty.

Most of us seem to use the Polk speakers (the ones mentioned in this thread: Upgrading the sound system on your Jeep Wrangler TJ). The reason for this (and I'm not an audio expert, so bare with me), is that the ranges on the Polk speakers are much more suited to the head unit than many of the others on the market. Not entirely sure about the JLs though, so I'll let someone more knowledgeable answer that one.

Having the Polk speakers myself, I can tell you that if I were you, I would go with something tried and tested, the Polk speakers with my setup (in the link above) sounds absolutely amazing! One of the best mods I've ever done.

Heater fan problems often mean the resistor is gone. It’s behind the glove box. Easy swap. The burn out like a light bulb.
Also, without an external woofer the stock speaker locations will not make any bass, just so you know.

Bump: Blower motor works, but the airbag light is still on. I've read about the preferred use of OE sensors, would that apply to the ignition switch as well? I grabbed a Napa switch when I did the replacement.
