I plan on redoing the audio system on my '05. Other than a Pioneer DEH 6400BT, I think everything is stock. Right now i'm getting sound randomly cutting out on every speaker besides the front passenger, but never more than 1 at a time. In the event that it is a wiring issue, and not a loose connector, what are my options on completely stripping out the speaker wiring and replacing it? Is there a pre-made wiring harness for it, or would I have to run speaker cable all over the place?

My system is completely not stock. I'd run new speaker wires because you might want a little larger gauge than the stock wiring, and the stock wiring is also quite old. I use no stock wiring except for the power, remote and ground for the headunit.
In that case, how much speaker wire would I need, and is it safe to reuse the old connectors, or should I buy new ones?
For extra info, I have no experience with wiring sound systems, but I'm no stranger to electronics and can read a wiring diagram.

If you are using all aftermarket parts i.e headunit, speakers, amps whatever, just use all new connectors of the type that works best for the install. Always get more wire than you think you'll need. I don't know how many speakers you'll be using, but 50 feet should be a good start. No need for stupid thick speaker wires, 16 gauge is plenty thick enough.
My system is somewhat unorthodox by normal standards, but it actually sounds pretty good, better than most others that, like mine, use up no valuable cargo area.
