I have a Soundstream Nano Picasso 640D that I'll be installing in the SilverFox LJ. I installed the prior one in the Red TJ in the popular under dash location. It's good that it's hidden away and up off the floor, but it's not so good that it's difficult to access. I'd like to know what ideas you have about alternate locations that are more accessible. I'm not totally opposed to it being on the floor, but I don't think it will fit well or be accessible under the seat, so that is out. Only other requirement is it not be in the console because my sub will be in that space.

I just put mine in the trunk since TJs basically have no room anyway.

As part of the never ending highline fender install a couple years ago, I removed the amps from the popular under the steering column and put them under the driver's seat on an aluminum plate. Doing so made the cable routing much cleaner.

Halfway done!

I’m definitely not against fabbing something up. I had to diagnose an issue on the amp under the column once and the body contortion required was enough to dissuade me from ever putting one there again.

Nice looking work you did there.

Are you running a back seat in the Siver Fox?

No. I’ve got two Dewalt wide mouth bags, a tool roll, and a place for a cooler in the back tub area. Recovery gear like soft shackles, tree strap, kinetic rope, and winch controller are either under the seat or behind, but there’s still at least one entire rear floorboard empty and the tops of the wheel wells are also empty.
