Took me a while to get a chance to paint the wheels. Here is the finished product. I just used rattle can ”flat” black.

I found a good deal on a used Warn x9000i. Tore the whole winch down to inspect all the internal gears, brake, and motor/brushes. Everything was good but the outside had a lot of chipped paint and oxidation. It looked pretty bad so while I had it apart I sanded, primed, and painted all the parts using the same “flat” black paint as my wheels since I still had a can laying around. I like ”flat” black because it hides blemishes better. I can always come back and touch things up easily as well.
I purchased a new synthetic rope from T.R.E. along with a soft shackle and tree saver.

Haven’t done anything to the Jeep in a while. The next mods I will do will probably be all new control arms. I’ll meet with a number of guys from this forum in October to go wheeling in Arkansas. I figure I’ll have some things I’ll want to upgrade after that trip. These days I’m more concerned with purchasing a truck to tow the Jeep with.
