This is in my 2008 WK GC.
Single zone climate control. And yet the A/C only cools the air coming from the driver side. I have cycled the vents, from floor to dash, outside to inside air, through all the options. That all works fine, on both sides. But the air coming from the passenger side vents is not cooled. It's not hot either, it's just what you'd expect if the A/C wasn't on.
Turning the temp control over to hot works fine, all vents blow super hot air. Back to cold, hot air is gone, but again only the driver side is being actively cooled by the A/C. I've also got two vents on the back of the center console blowing onto the rear seats, same deal there, no A/C.
Yes, I'm very sure it's a single zone system. Doesn't seem like a blend door thing since I assume there's only one blend door. And it appears to be working in the sense that I can go from hot to, well, not hot on all vents. They all feel like the same amount of air is coming from them, same temp air, no problems at all. Until I turn on the A/C.
Blend door motor/shaft repair is about the only thing I've done before for these types of issues, but this seems different.
