Any Cigar Aficionados Here?

If you ever come down to Georgia to wheel I’ll give you one of my finest.
Georgia has some really awesome lounges. Ive been to two particular spots Ive enjoyed and met some fantastic people. One was called The Patio Social Club in Smyrna.

Thank you sir. Have you had a Kentucky Fire cured? It’s actually a really tasty smoke! I was skeptical until I tried it, but I now keep them stored. Everyone I give one to has really enjoyed them as well
Yes I have had it, I really didn't enjoy the flavor. The MUWAT, Joya De Nicaragua, Espinoza and The RP Decade are also good smokes.

I was going to chime in and say the same. AJ Fernandez is my preferred maker. There's a few of their / his sticks that I enjoy. That would even include the Last Call. Both the Maduro and Habano.

I actually don't mind the Kentucky now and again. It's unique and not over the top like other flavored smokes, which I don't typically like at all.

You being in Jersey, whats some of your fav smoke shops? I visit J&R's now and again, but I sometimes visit High End in Scotch Plains and a few others in that area.
I don't think I've ever had anything of AJ's that I did not like.

Some of my favorite places are United Card and Smoke, in Denville. I'm friends with the owner. He has a decent walk-in humidor with a good selection. He also owns Adams Beer Garden, which is a small bar with an outdoor cigar lounge.
JR's in Whippany has a good selection, it's about 10 minutes from me. I stop in once in a while.
There is Stix lounge in Butler.

Most of my stuff comes from Cigar International. They are about an hour ride from me. I'll go out there and hang in the lounge for a few hours.

Mail order wise it's, CI, Cigar.com, Cigarbid and Thompson cigar. It's all the same shit now. They are all owned by Scandinavian Tobacco Group.

There also used to be a few other good places in Jersey, but they are now Vape shops.

Cigars are one of the few exports Cuba has and their centrally planned economy sucks. Cuban tobacco had been planted in poor growing area and the delicate process of making quality cigars is often rushed to get product on the market. With a few exceptions you will generally find better cigars produced elsewhere in the world.
Too bad you can't duplicate the soil.
It's all in the soil.

a neurologist once analyzed Cuban cigar and found that it was loaded with lithium, the stuff that makes people happy, its naturally in the soil in cuba. Thats why your first cuban will probably make you sick, but after you get used to them you will feel great,

Im in Phoenix, In Scottsdale they have Fox Cigar bar, it has a big humidor and plenty of babes, in spandex ( properly sized of course ) I love going there. It warm and friendly

Recently threw in some Oliva series V in the humidor. CI had a deal on them.

Go to is padron 75th anniversary.. but they can get pricey.

Always enjoyed r&j maduros... though they recently have been rolled too tight.

Funny enough... excalibur cigar in SD has a house cigar that is pretty tasty.

The Series V and the Series V Melanio are very good smokes.

The Padron 1926 80th is also a great smoke, but expensive.

Some of my other favorites are La Aroma de Cuba, Alec Bradley Prensado.

If you order from CI, check out CigarBid. They're owned by CI; I've picked up some really great deals on there.

Thanks for this thread. I am still the guy that picks up a cigar or two at Total Wine, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. This thread has already given me some direction.

What is it about cigars you all enjoy? Do you inhale? Is it the flavor? Or is it a social thing?

Flavor, and social thing. You arn’t supposed to inhale a cigar really, I mean you can but I don’t recommend doing it every puff.

I do not inhale. mostly a flavor AND social thing. And frankly, its a relaxing thing. I still enjoy a fine cigar, and a Glass of Eagle Rare after dinner. I sit outside quietly and contemplate the universe as the sun sets 👍👍 OR if im at the cigar bar, stare at some magnificent <female> Butt

I find it very relaxing to just sit on the deck in the evening with a fine cigar and a nice dram of single malt. I love the flavor.
My father-in-law who recently passed was a huge cigar nut. Every year for family vacations I would pick up a box of Padron 1926, we would sit outside every night and smoke. I'm gonna miss that.
I don't inhale.

About the same here. It’s usually a Acid CuBa or a Nub from the BIL.
