Anyone fly Old Glory on Memorial Day?

I'm glad you posted this. I saw some things that I didn't appreciate this weekend as well. As mentioned in other posts, most of the offenders just think they're being patriotic, which is great. It's not ill will so much as ignorance.

It's been almost a year to the day since I presented a folded flag to a veterans widow. It means more to me than a holiday bumper sticker to be duck taped to a truck bed full of beer cans.
 
Flag was up and flying for the holiday, have one in a triangular box with three spent shells above my desk for my father. Like many here I and many of my family members have served in the service of our country. My sincere thanks to those who have paid the ultimate price and to those who thankfully didn't have to.

Have NO problem honoring the Israeli fallen. And I agree with your sentiment 110%. Just curious if they had a similar event on the same day. And unlike our British friends, Israel has always supported us. Can't support them enough.
