As you may have heard ..... marijuana will soon be legal in Canada.
There isn't any definitive procedure to test for impairment .... yet.
There isn't a threshold point for impairment.
Combined with the 'driving-texting' drivers, and lack of real enforcement for such, the road has become a more hazardous place.
Have been riding for decades ..... long rides.
Age becomes a factor also.
The odds just aren't with me anymore.
At a 'fork in the road' now .......

Thoughts on the upheaval at Harley-Davidson ..... ?
I got hit by a driver that was on his phone(he switched from the left turning lane to lane #1 that I was in). Guess he changed his mind and wanted to go straight. I was doing about 40 and luckily I was wearing my gear and did not hit something solid.

My trusty Shoei protected me and I still rode after the accident for another 2 years with many close calls. Once my little one was born born it was time to call it quits.

I work in Tempe (college town) It is not legal here, but nobody cares, they do it anyway. I don't think in my area if/when it becomes legal much will change for my situation.
