Australian Black Beach Eagle

If you are doing this on a budget, you'll definitely need a rear Panhard bar Bracket (lowers the rear Panhard bar at one end).
If you rock up to ARB, they should be able to help out with the bracket and the bumpstop extensions.
lus, If you join a club you should also get a discount from local ARB Shops too (I find this makes any ARB purchases locally a lot cheaper than imorting from the USA).

Looking good! With your leak, was the water coming through the right side or left side? (to avoid confusion about passenger and rhd/lhd)

It was coming through on the left hand side (passenger). Still leaks under heavy rain. I think I'm missing a plastic cowl that directs water away from the cabin air intake.

Thanks good to know, I have been checking out the items ARB uses on an install. Also good to hear about the discounts. How ridiculous it is that it's cheaper to get an Australian brand shipped from the US than bought here in Australia.

Interesting it looks like they’ve reversed it for the rhd versions. I have a leak on my drivers side (right side), and I thought it was the common cowl leak but now I am unsure.

Not too sure what the drivers side leak might be, I do know it could be the air-conditioning refrigerant leaking or excess water flowing in because the drain is clogged.

Small update installed some Crown clear turn signals. Really like the look.

Haven't updated in a while but this is what I've worked on recently.

Apart from my trouble shooting journey here:

Noticed a leak after flushing and replacing the coolant. After reading up a little determined it was due to failing water pump bearing.

Fortunately it was replaced under a 3rd party warranty. So after acquiring the remaining parts for the 2.5" Old Man Emu lift kit it was time to tackle the job. This is how she sits stock after 150,000kms with 31" tyres on 15" wheels.

Shocks removed.

Getting the opposite side spring seated with some assistance.

Working on the rear end.

The rear trailing arm bracket extension is located on the chassis end as apposed to the differential end on LHD Jeeps. Making installation much easier.

A lot easier than working on the differential end plus no drilling required. That was the completion of the OME 2.5" lift. I'll post some photos when I get the chance along with some measurements before and after. Very happy with the end product although they are pretty much bang on 50mm increase with OME spacers/leveling installed on each spring, they are second hand springs. Will probably look at replacing them in the future to squeeze a little bit more lift. Definitely going to be replacing all shocks and steering dampener with Rancho RS5000 as the OME shocks are toast.

Also worth noting I didn't install the transfer case drop kit yet. I haven't noticed any significant vibrations and that's with the terribly worn shocks.
