RotoPax has their 3.5 gallon FuelPax on sale for $40. It's a good buy for someone looking to go that direction.

Wow, that's not bad. Normally these things are so overpriced it's a joke (which is why I've held off on buying them).

Is there any kind of auxiliary fuel cell that can be mounted under the vehicle in addition to the stock tank? Perhaps on the left side between the T-case and the rear axle. All I have seen are fuel cells that just replace the stock tank.

I saw this thread up and thought it was today. Lol. Hoping to get a RotoPax sometime with the exogate mount.

Why is it silly?
The skid is 3/16" on the bottom of a 1/8" thick tank. They should either add a layer of 3/16" aluminum to the bottom or make the skid from 1/8" with thicker portions only where the strength is needed. It just too much weight to an already larger capacity tank which equals more weight. If you have ever installed one, it's astounding how much they weigh.

I installed mine and yes it's heavy. I dropped off a ledge recently and the fuel tank skid hit pretty hard. I was please with it's durability and the extra fuel capacity is awesome. Thanks for replying.
