Rotopax fuel jugs

Have you considered the Genright tank?
Much easier to use. Just install and forget it exists. Use the extended range every time you drive.

Alternatively, depending on how your tire carrier is built, you can use the Rock Hard jerry can mounts. They hold the can above the taillights, and are compatible with one jerry can each or two rotopax each.

Another alternative is Morryde Jerry can mounts. I don't think they're Rotopax compatible though.

Rotpax are made about a block from my work. I would not mount them on the drivers side but passenger side would be more acceptable IMHO.

Thinking about a set of MOR/Ryde tailgate hinges with a Risk Racing 3 gallon gas can & carrier mounted to the tailgate hinge. My spare is a little over 31" & has been fine on the stock tailgate with good snubbers. Thinkin there might be 6" between the tire & the taillight. Should be a pretty easy bracket to fab. And could be secured on top with a strap thru the spare tire.
