What colors (can you post photos) and texture if you did a texture and brand of paint did you use.

More than anything I am looking for ideas. I have a black TJ and I am thinking of charcoal bumper color. But I am looking for ideas.

Thanks.

I was going to use Farm and Implement on the LJ, then ended up using Rustoleum High Performance Enamel on the matching primer. Most of it turned out great, but some spots where I didn't get a heavy enough coat on the end have a little texture and aren't as nice.

Prep is important. I do any grinding first, then red scotch brite with acetone, then microfiber with acetone, let it dry, then spray.

Steel-It is awesome. Looks kind of like powder coat as it's kind of in between flat and satin, and it sprays and lays down awesome. Stupid expensive, though.

Seymore Stainless Blast. Just bought a case for my fenders.

I went with a charcoal gray.....I can always go over it with flat black. It's ok. I wanted texture and initally went with a Krylon texture charcoal but it had some pink flake in the sun....so went back over it with plane rustoleum flat charcoal gray....which just looks like dark primer. I will post pictures later.

It's fine. Honestly....black is prob best....just was trying to change things up.

I prefer at least a Satin finish for bumpers. Flat picks up dirt. Textured picks up dirt. Most go with black and if aluminum then many leave it raw with a shark hide resin coating.
