Time to start watching weather. We may just thread the needle looking at the 10 day:

Ha. Last time we did it, we stayed a full week in August and it was open only 24 hours of that.
The trail closure is put on a recording when you call the Ranger Station at 706-745-6928 (you don't have to talk to anyone it's before it connects).
Hopefully this 10 day forecast holds true!!!!!! Who's ready........

Waiting to see if I can get some locals to go in on a VRBO with me, but we’re still in.
Still in, assuming my pitman arm from The Wizard gets here beginning of next week. UCF told me my skid ships Monday.
I'm still in as long as I can get the Commando ready in time. This will be its first ride since the fall and I have a few minor issues that have appeared over the winter.
I can pop the one off mine, I’m giving the box to Cooper surplus anyways. It’d have to be fast but I’ll be in Spartanburg Tuesday morning for work.

It was wet, but I did it downhill and it’s one of the hardest trails I’ve ever done. 37s would be a reach going up.
