Nice meeting you Zack, I have your bungee strap still. I’ll get it back to you next ride! Hope the fix is simple!

Nice meeting you also. You did some impressive driving today. You can keep the bungee, I have a ton of those things

I have a few ideas on why my Jeep was running hotter than normal. I'll figure it out. I have a month to work out all the issues before my next ride at Windrock

Did you really ask that.... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That’s what I found when I opened it up lol. That may have been the leak, but I went ahead and replaced thermostat, water pump, pump tube, and gaskets. Threw on a new belt for good measure. Draining the distilled water flush now. All I like is refilling with coolant after that.

Drove her to work today. No leaks so far and stayed about 210…a little over when idling after hot with AC on. Seems normal from what I’ve read around the forums. The thermostat I pulled out said 195, but it ran way cooler before the change. It was not stuck open, but it must have been opening way early. In the winter it would throw a code for not warming up and only got to 210 when super hot out.

Seems weird seeing it sit at 210 or a little over all the time, but so far so good.
