Beeping when using parking brake

It may be because your jeep thinks it's rolling, mine did that for a while and then I tightened up the cable and it mostly goes away. If the wheel moves the slightest bit, it'll start beeping.
I like having it. I have an auto, so I rarely use the parking brake, except when I am I am off road and parking on hills, or off camber, having witnessed one TJ take off down a hill in park. (driver was careless and didn't come to a complete stop and let the sprag fully engage, but still, better safe than sorry) If I am in 4 low and put the Jeep in drive, it only takes a little throttle to overpower the parking brake, and I always forget I have it set. The beeper is nice for that.
With my manual I always use the parking brake. I rarely hear the beep because I always have my foot on the brake when I release the parking brake. I know the beep works though because my son pulled the Jeep out of the garage with the brake set. Beeped the whole time, did not phase him one bit.
