Bench test (factory) locker pumps?

I've been searching to no avail thus far.
If it's been covered, I can't find it and apologize ahead of time.
So, as the title states: How do I bench test the air compressors?
My kid has checked the fuses, but no love from the pumps.

Just provide 12 volts to it and it'll run. Close off the output tube with your finger tip and its internal pressure switch will shut it off. If the pump doesn't shut off or it cycles on and off with your finger tip covering the output port, it has an internal diaphragm leak.

I'd give you the wire colors to connect the 12v to but I'm traveling and have no access to my schematics.

I believe its fuse 24 at the underhood fuse box. I would verify you have power across the fuse.
You can always unplug the connector at the compressor and check for power with a test lamp.
easiest way with a simple power/ground circuit. I use a 194bulb/socket assembly with terminated leads on it. I plug it in and power up the compressor, if the light comes on, you have power and ground. The compressor is bad.

They absolutely positively won't do anything in 4hi unless you modify the system.
