I understand the supply line issues with foreign parts these days, so if anyone could give me a good option for stock shocks on my old beach shake and bake I would be grateful.
Thanks MarkAfter many years with OME shocks, I installed H&R springs and Rancho 5000Xs to achieve, at last, the perfect ride I had wanted on my 2000 TJ.
^^ thisThey need to the RS5000X, not just RS5000, just sayin.
There isn't much wrong with the KYB MonoMax.I understand the supply line issues with foreign parts these days, so if anyone could give me a good option for stock shocks on my old beach shake and bake I would be grateful.
If you’re stock height, the Bilstein 4600 is a great shock. It’s the 5100s that you generally want to avoid.I understand the supply line issues with foreign parts these days, so if anyone could give me a good option for stock shocks on my old beach shake and bake I would be grateful.
Same with the 5000xI wouldn't have put "Best Shock" and "Bilstein" in the same sentence.
Someone really ought to take this advice and report back. There isn't much wrong with the KYB MonoMax.

The 4600s worked perfectly for me for around 90,000 miles.
