Lots of FB Marketplace scams going on right now.
Please people use common sense:

There not even trying lets just copy and paste the description nobody will notice.

Don't know Chris, listed the Sportster on Marketplace yesterday around 5 and had cash in hand at 2 this afternoon. Hard to beat around here since CL is useless.

I look for photos that are used in multiple ads, and when I buy or sell I look up the persons profile before I respond. The stock is this available is usually fishing for info so I just block and delete. I did sell my beetle on marketplace last week but I had to wade through a lot of shitheads. The trolls wreck it.

There are so MANY scams on FB now it's almost unbelievable. The US postage stamp counterfeiters in Hong Kong on FB have been hating my continued SCAM warnings for months now.

I’ve seen that same Jeep at the same house on Craigslist awhile back. Craigslist charges $5 to advertise a vehicle now and haven’t seen that mess since then.

No not really as it is a part of Facebook.
You married, just do what I did deleted my account and just use my wifes. Technically I only use it for marketplace.

In my area, Facecrook Marketplace has way more scam vehicles than Craigslist. Craigslist charges $5 for every vehicle you list.

Nice...you can find some really good deals, just use common sense.
Also you can narrow the search to just local pickup.

*If the person says anything about paying with giftcards or wire transfers or hey I will give you a million dollars to deposit and then you keep the amount for what you are selling JUST WALK AWAY.

Just like porch thieves or car crooks, scammer should risk losing a finger or hand. Severe punishment for those caught in the act.

But there's also no such thing as a $1,500 pristine vehicle. Be it a Jeep or a Yugo
