The jack and extensions came in at 14 pounds. The base was right at 3, for a total of 17. So a 12 pound reduction compared to the high lift.
But to get the jack and the base into the back of the rig, I had to loose a couple of quarts of motor oil that I usually carry - so that offset the addition of the base…
One final touch on this project. Today I broke out the sewing machine and made a canvas storage sack for the jack extensions. All the pieces fit nicely, and this keeps everything together.
