So I have these round brake lights that came with the jeep. Is there a bracket for the interior of these to keep them secure. They seem to just be floating in there and not secured well.

The rubber gaskets on the outside are all that secure them in place. The person who did the install may have drilled the holes a touch too big. Just FYI even a little wobble on a drill when using a hole saw can make the hole too big.

P-Man is correct. The rubber grommets are what secures the light. Unless the hole is too big, (they mount in a 4 1/2" hole), they are fine. Almost every tractor/ trailer you see on the highway uses those type lights. They're not going anywhere. You actually have to work at it a little to get them in or out. Here are mine.
