I know the TJ has 3/16 brake line, any idea which fittings I need for my Dana 44 conversion? I am removing the axle tomorrow so hopefully I can just take the brake line to autozone (napa is closed sunday ._.) and match the fitting & do my bends/flares. Any ideas, just redoing brake line from rear frame side back.

I'm confused. Explain what you are doing a bit further and why you need new hard lines.

I am currently swapping my Dana 35 to the Dana 44 using the BMB Drum to Disc conversion kit. Since the line was being removed axle side, I was going to discard the old line and replace it with new line. Are you advising I just re-use the factory line for the Drum to Disc kit and just cut the line & double flare it for the soft hose connection of the calipers (The line functions fine and does not leak)? I'm very new to hard lines so sorry if my terminology is incorrect or not coherent.

The flex lines we include already have the tube nut you need to slide onto your hard brake line after you cut it and mount the hose mount on the back of the spring perch. The flex hose pops into the mount and is kept in place with the included retainer.

You only need to get the length correct, cut, slide on tube nut, double flare, and then thread it into the flex hose and snug it up. There should be no other fittings needed if you already have hard lines on the axle that connect to the wheel cylinders.

This clears things up quite a bit. Thank you for keeping things simple @mrblaine.
