Brake rubbing sound

Gotta be hoses... could be a bad caliper...but I'd have put new hoses on from the get go.

I remember the crown brake lines that you suggested but they’re just taking forever and I need them asap and I’ve already waited 3 weeks for them. Any other recommendations? Preferable for a 2”, later 3” lift?

Lots of folks recommended the YJ hoses... apparently they're a touch longer.

You should be able to get the oem replacement YJ lines at any parts place.
They'll be plenty long enough.

And yes...frozen caliper...not enough grease on side bolts...d hoses...all causes.

Just an added note for others, the bolts don't need greased; the slides do.

I wonder if anyone makes a slide/bolt combo with a grease fitting.

If I do a particular wet muddy nasty trail ride I usually regrease the slides.

Probably unnecessary...

There's no metal for a fitting.
The grease goes in the rubber boot.

Yeah but you could drill the center of the slide with a hole to let grease out in the center into the boot...just like tractor and heavy equipment pins.
