Hi guys your local backyard jeep guy just broke down on the side of the highway slowly lost power tried downshifting till it completely died getting it towed home but it did start on starting fluid for a quick second just curious what should be my process of elimination going forward

Just filled up no leaks !

Well in that case start with fuel. Make sure you're getting the correct pressure at the rail. Also make sure you've got spark.

That's behind you now , you have a nice setup !

You can smack the tank with a hammer and many times the electric pump will start to work . This is just for test purposes or to get home , the fix is to R&R the pump.

Theres a yellow 20amp under the hood labeled fuel. If that pops, it will crank but not fire.... ask me how I know hahaha

Couldn’t have been a better time !

I used one of these to drain my YJ tank. Once you get the siphon going, you don't have to pump it.
