Broken antenna tip

I have a feeling the tip is broken, this is coming from the antenna base. Can I replace it, if so how hard is it? The other end that plugs into the radio has the broken tip lodged in it.

have you tried straightening it back out and plugging it in?

yup and still static. Can someone post a pic of what it looks like so I have an idea please?

Should have an end on it something like this. You can get a replacement at the auto part store.

cool, I'm assuming I have to remove the base first to unplug it? I tried to unplug it from underneath the dash and no luck.

Picked up a universal cable and modified to fit the base and works like a champ. Thanks all.
