Broken body mount bolt

Looks like i have joined the list of BBMB-ers
This is left side by the rear shock, all others came out without issues.
Bolt removed that i have is stripping it, and extractor tap snapped inside of it.
My next step was to get a tig weld or use a jbweld to attach a nut to it. However, more i look at it, more it looks like it will break again a bit further up where not much meat left.

I am thinking to simply cut the bolt off, and make a mount out of hokey pucks, just like for bump stops on axles. Yes? No? Dumb idea? Lots of dumb ideas in my head right now, this juice diet drives me insane.
I feel like mentally i am over this stupid issue, and simply looking for an easy way out of this situation.
Open for ideas, anything, no matter how silly or stupid...

I would try to heat it then clamp some vise grips on and work it back and forth slowly.

is there anyway to spray it on top ? if so get ya a spray bottle from h.d. and mix acetone and atf 50/50 and soak the shit out of it for a week before working it. it's worth a try but thats pretty rusted. if ya can get it to move you should be able to work it out. try going in 1st.

I would clean it up, thread a nut onto it, weld the nut on, drill a hole in the side of the torque box so I could drench that MF in penetrating oil for days up to a week, and then carefully walk it out and back in til it's out.

If that doesn't do it then next move is to cut it off flush, drill through it and holesaw it out so you can weld in a repair section.

Just what I would do. I leave open the possibility (even likelihood) that somebody comes along with something better.

another option if it breaks again would be to drill it and then run a tap in the fitting. looks like a 5/16 so only drill it the size needed for a 5/16 tap. you'll need a size "f" drill bit

Good call. Definitely try this before the holesaw
