Guys, I know this horse has been beaten to death. I promise I have done my due diligence and read through all of the threads about bump stops. So, either I am more "special" than I think, or there is just too much out there garbling it for me. Here is my issue: My Jeep was stored most of its life and allowed to dry rot about every bit of rubber it has. My bumps stop will probably come off in a cloud of dust. I need advice on what I should replace them with. I have a 6" lift and am running 37" tires. I have an old Rusty's Acme threaded long arm system on her for the lift. My plans are to mildly take her off road but she's mostly my "classic car" that I am slowly rebuilding. Please send your suggestions my way.
***Your suggestions on re-gearing has changed her completely
Oh, if anyone could please let me know why I have become so obsessed, Id like the answer to that as well. ITS NOT CHEAP!
