C-clip pushed too far on one side to remove

Huh 🤔, the other side is already hit as far as it will go, which is why the other side is lacking space.

If the side shown is the side with the largest gap, I still see room for a screwdriver blade to get in there.
 
No that’s the small side shown, literally maybe 1/8” but no angle available.
Meaning that other side has a larger gap? Get a screwdriver or chisel in there and start moving the clip around until you can work it out.

I tried every screwdriver and chisel and metal punch, nothing fits!

The other side is already pushed as far as it I’ll go and I tried to get underneath , but not happening.
 
Yes, it's happened before, and it's been solved by using a screwdriver or chisel. Just keep going at it, theres no "trick"

You have all kinds of room. Stick a screwdriver in at 90° to the clip and twist.

Give the cap a smack to take pressure off of the clip.
