Can coil spring spacers be trimmed?

I'm trying to find some 1.25" coil spring spacers for the front of my sled, but I'm have trouble finding some. They seem to jump from .75 to 1.5 or 1.75. I know most of them are poly and didn't know if I could order some oversized and trim them to size or if they are contoured on both sides.

Now that I think about it again, I did see those TeraFlex1.25. But I was trying to figure out why those are about $25-30 a piece while all the other sizes are about the same price for a set of two.

2x as good? Or 2x the marketing budget?

If the others are made of the same material I would think they are worth futher investigation.

If you installed the 1.5” or 1” would you really notice the .25” difference?

I really doubt it would be visible. I think I'm just going to go ahead and get one or the other. I was just wondering if it was reasonable to get slightly bigger instead of slightly smaller so that they could be trimmed

Just a follow up on this for anyone in the future, the best way to trim these would probably be with a lathe. This wouldn't be a problem for me since I have a friend with one but they are contoured on both sides. I won't be needing them now with the lift on its way. Pic of top and bottom below.

You could probably hold them in a small enough 3-jaw chuck(definitely a 4-jaw) and face the extra material off the backside. That big chamfer on the backside is just clearance for the top of the bump-stop tube.

If someone is in a position to turn down a set spacers, then just make a set from aluminum. I've used both materials on mine. The current set of aluminum spacers I have on the rear are the best set I've used.
