Can't break front axle nut loose

Can't break DS axle nut free. Tried breaker bar then impact wrench, to loosen, think it maxs out at 150 ft-lbs. Had this off two years ago when changing seals.

How much heat, what temperature, can I apply to nut without overheating bearing/melting grease?

Put a cheater on the breaker bar and stand on it

Also helps to have someone stand on the brakes

If your wheel center hole is large enough to fit the socket thru, bolt the wheel in place and drop it back down on the ground. Get a larger cheater bar if necessary.

SvtLdr, yes, trying with wheel on ground and wheels chocked.

Hate to point out the obvious but try to turn it the correct direction because there is no way a cheater with someone standing on it won't break that loose.

You have an impact that couldn't do it? I'd be looking for a new impact...until then, yeah, Big breaker bar and a 4 foot long piece of gas pipe to slide over the handle should do it...or flip your jeep over.
