Car pics too cool not to share

So very glad that I do not have the spare funds. This is on the island, literally, within 2-3 miles of me at this very moment... 🤪

Don't let that hold you back from a project you want need. I never have, well, not until I found myself with too many. :sneaky: I say you should go get that car. Open a daycare or charge it to some "student loan", then it's basically free. ;)

While I do appreciate the effort (to drag me down with you), I'm critically short on space for current projects and, in all honesty, I probably couldn't fit in it anyway. With the older UK/European stuff, there are a fair few I literally cannot operate due to size. :ROFLMAO:

I have the solutions for both of those problems, too;
for the space

for the leg room

And with my financial solutions above, you're basically a made man. :sneaky: You should have that car in your driveway by tomorrow.

I might be mad in the eyes of some people, but I'm not mad enough to install a four post lift in rental condo garage. :sneaky:

At the risk of offending, this feels like a very "Southern" solution to the problem. 🤓

Open a daycare

That'll go well. With a few exceptions, I like kids about as much as I like the idea of having a public colonoscopy.

Is it? Really? :ROFLMAO:

I'm over 50, I was raised with a bit more fiscal responsibility than that. ;)

There are a few Limey options that you would fit in , and even some options from our Hessian friends.

See, you damn yankees don't think things through. You cut the car in half, then put it back together with some extra length, that's how you stretch a vehicle and get extra leg room.

I knew this was the product of a yankee. :ROFLMAO:

You must not be keeping up with the news, or your not thinking that one through either. There's no kids involved, just a "daycare". I'm thinking of starting one so I can finish my projects, too, but I need apps address for the application. :sneaky:

Why don't I remember seeing this beautiful Packard named "Rita"?

Glamour shots for its upcoming sale.

Well, I'm might be screwed. My little girl just walked by while "Rita" was on the screen and she stopped, let out a catcall and said "eww, I like that purple car, I want it". :ROFLMAO: I told her when she gets big she can have a purple car, maybe a purple Jeep. She said no, that car.

Time to get serious about that "daycare" then? :ROFLMAO:

I love it , my girls were very opinionated when it came to cars they liked . Our oldest loved 70 Chevelle SS 454's since she was 9 or 10 . My favorite Chevelle is a 65 Z - 16 car , so she didn't get that opinion from me. Our youngest would change her mind almost daily , the most important feature was how beautiful the color was ,

So far both of my kids seem to have an interest in vehicles, 4wheelers, tractors, etc. The boy seems to be mostly concerned with mechanical aspects and how things work, and for some reason he gravitates to the rusty-and-crusty things, but the girl likes fast and shiny, and motorcycles. She worries me a little bit. :sneaky:

That young lady has excellent taste! That might well be my favorite Chevrolet of all time. It's definitely my favorite muscle car from Chevrolet. I used to have a poster on my bedroom wall of an orange '70 Chevelle SS 454...next to some other posters, of course...:sneaky:
