I'm not concerned about cosmetics, for the record. This is why I typically refrain from giving any body/paint advice, I should listen to myself more often. :)

On the same basic subject, does anyone here have any car related channels/shows that they watch with any kind of regularity? I watched Roadkill and Roadkill Garage until their demise. Freiburger's solo effort is pretty good, most of the time. I also watch Budget Buildz, and while I do enjoy it, it holds nowhere near the level of interest that the Roadkill shows did for me. But the one show that I never miss is one out of Canada called Cold War Motors. Been watching it since its very raw beginnings (14 years, I think...?). Scott is an insanely talented body man, and the cast of characters he hangs out with (agents, he calls them) really adds to the entertainment value. It's my go-to show, without a doubt.

Wife and I will occasionally binge watch "Iron Restoration". They're pretty good, but apply the same formula to just about every car: Slam it first - or at least lower it substantially - then build up the rest of it. That Mexican painter who does all their painting is a friggin' "Artiste" - talent and skill!

I am the rust whisperer. I have deep routed issues with corrosion, like angry, PTSD-type reactions to it. It just ruins things, and many of those things are no longer made and getting harder to fix/replace.

Can you hear that? I can. If you listen carefully, you can my LJ's frame surface corroding from the latest round of storm salting on the roads as I type this...and my sphincter tightens... 🤪

I watch cleetus a lot, his cleet & squirrel videos are entertaining if you don't take it too seriously. Also, vice grip garage is pretty cool, 1320 video, deboss garage, grind hard plumbing builds some crazy shit.
