What do you think of these?

And I do wonder how such a thing would work in cold climates with ice and snow.
Pretty interesting in theory, though the use of technology seems like it has the potential to be an Achilles' heel. Betting it's quite expensive as well, most municipalities would probably opt for the sleeping policeman. And I do wonder how such a thing would work in cold climates with ice and snow.
I'm sure it takes some maintenance, but it's quite doable. I like the idea better than having to drive over fixed bumps or get a speeding ticket in the mail from traffic cams.
Drifting, to the extent of what "drifting" has come to be, has never really done anything for me. Yes, I absolutely agree that it takes skill, but I still don't get it. Same with "burnout" contests. But to each their own, right? That's why I can say that I like cars without hoods, and done properly, I'm fine with "fake patina". I also prefer weathered paint to an illustrious shine. But again, that's just my own preference.
"Actibump has been used successfully in Sweden for more than ten years."

How much faith do you have that I or someone smarter than me won't be actively trying to hack the controls of "Actibumps" for fun?

Flock traffic cameras contracted by police can be hacked/have been hacked.

In the Flock privacy statement to police depts. on page 57 , it probably states by using this service all images and information is being sent to google .
I have a deep seated hatred of mass surveillance systems like that. I got a letter in the mail form one of those plate scanners trying to extort me for $90. Now I'm ready to burn that whole system down along with anyone in it. I've heard that you can make plate data FOIA request to a police department using FLOCK, and they legally cannot provide the information, which jams them up. I haven't tried it yet, but I have plans since those damn cameras are popping up everywhere around here.![]()
You...uh...you probably shouldn't watch these videos then...
And then there's the whole RING network...
A friend was just wondered if FLOCK cameras like 22LR? Like, that wouldn't hurt it, right?![]()
In 1968 , Cadillac . Lincoln , and Imperial offered Air Conditioning at additional cost . The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow offered it as standard equipment.
Guess what American car also offer Air Conditioning as standard equipment ? Who would have guessed , the AMC Ambassador ?!
