Car pics too cool not to share

So, let's say it's the late 1990's, maybe 2000 (Oh shit! Y2K! :ROFLMAO:), and you're a chap with a little bit of extra loot to piss away on something fun. You've got a passion for motorsports, particularly F1 racing of the late 1950's, and you're looking for some form of road-legal surrogate. What do you do? Well, you get yourself a Rocket from the Light Car Company, that's what you do!

Serious design cues from late 50's Cooper Txx cars in this thing. Designed by F1 and road car design legend Gordon Murray back in the day, it's still an interesting thing from both a design and transportation viewpoint.

Cool.
What doesn't he have?

I just finished watching a crappy SciFi movie called 'The Giant Spider Invasion'. End credits say 'Automobiles Provided By American Motors Corporation'. That could be why there was a 65-66 Ambassador wagon, 75 Matador 4 door, 75 Matador coupe, and Jeep Cherokee Chief running around. Filmed in Wisconsin, too. Seriously, it's a really crappy movie.

I just had to look this up. It's on Amazon Prime. Thanks, @Cheesy...;)

I had to sit through it on MST3K. So besides the crappy movie, I got to hear Crooow say, "Packers, Packers, Packers" whenever a certain make of car came on screen. BTW, the giant spiders are VW Beetles in costume.

I'll watch it when the wife isn't home. She already has serious doubts about my tastes in entertainment. :sneaky:

I spotted this little doohickey yesterday. I think it's a '63, but I'm not too sure. I also think I've seen an Avanti sitting at this house in the past, and I don't know what is under the other cover, but I'm pretty sure it's another Stude.
