Good Morning,

disregard, I think I found the answer to my question some place else. I need more than just new bearing hubs, requires a lot more parts, something for another owner to accomplish.

(I have a 98 TJ with 173k, 4.0, 5 speed.

I am doing some front end maintenance, something that hasn’t been done since it was new I think, and I am considering replacing the front bearing assembly. Right now I do not have lockable front hubs but would like to install them. Can I do that using the stock bearing assembly and installing a locking hub kit or do I need a different bearing hub assembly? I have looked at the aftermarket products but not interested in spending that kind of money on it right now. My plan is to drive it a couple more years then sell it and get something different. )

Thanks,
Jeff
