You can’t go wrong with any model Tacoma really, just have to make sure the frame is intact and good to go. They will all go for 300k +. They win year after year best mid sized truck for a reason.

I definitely like the 3rd gen better. The one Im looking at and will probably buy is already set up with everything I'd do. It's a BAD truck, IMHO...

Yes, it is. Guy has all the stock stuff too, so double bonus. Very nice truck, so I just gotta sell mine.

Awesome I couldn’t tell if the flares were painted or not. The sport has a hood scoop, and I just now noticed it haha. That’s a nice truck. What’s he asking for it? Miles?
Low miles...like 17,000. Asking about what you'd expect. I don't want to talk about it anymore though...for fear of jinxing it!

As a 2nd gen Tacoma owner, I love reading about the longevity of these trucks also. I'll never put that many miles on my truck in this lifetime, but it's very interesting to read. The owner lives in NM, and he's had that truck on and off road a lot...
Had a 2017 TRD come out to one of our newbie runs, that thing worked well we just had to do a lot of spotting for the departure angle. He didn't even realize he had a locker to turn on till the end of the day.

So...My F150 is GONE. I'm driving this right now. Dealership gave me an extended Test drive. Its a used Z71, but calling it used is tough. Its an 18 with less than 10,000 miles on it. Nice ride. Lots of room, which is what I'm concerned about with the Tacoma. I have to have the seat ALL the way back in the Taco (I'm 6'2")...which means the rear seat doesn't fold down. Important because I have dogs that gotta ride back there. The dealer's starting price is pretty good on this one too...I'm tempted to pull the trigger. Needs a leveling kit though...that's one thing I can't stand about the Colorado is the factory rake!

The Taco isn't out yet...Its just an hour away and I have to set something up to see it. Probably this weekend. I actually like the look of that truck better, but I'm concerned with how well I'm going to fit.Any ZR2s on the lot
There were a few ZR2's on the Lot...I drove one with a Diesel! It was Pretty too...that electric blue color. Its tempting, but I just can't justify the price. 50 K for a midsize pickup is absolutely nuts. Its sweet though!

AEV is collaborating with the ZR2 now and minus the snorkel looks pretty cool. That ZR2 look nice. 50k is very steep tho. We have a black extended cab at my local dealership that has been sitting for months..it’s down to 37-38k now. It’s a black one not a diesel tho

I love my 2004 Tacoma TRD. It's a real work horse on the ranch, plus a pleasure to drive on the Hwy. When I wore out my 1992 Toyota, I was looking for another one. In 05 they changed to the larger body style. Too big for my use on ranch roads. So found my current 04 with 38,000 miles on it, and I wanted the 5 speed. Now have 110,000 on it and still working hard.
I have no Tacoma experience but guys I know who have bought Tacomas like I buy Jeeps hate the new powertrains. G1, G2, G3, G?.... I don't know but the older ones are gold. The new ones for guys who have owned Tacomas for 10 plus years, hate the new powertrains.
