Click noise after shifting

Hey, I have a click noise that I hear after shifting from 2nd to 3rd for a couple days. Today I was driving and the same thing is happening and then the check engine light came on. Also, in the morning when I start the Jeep (2004) I hear an extra rattle around the transmission area.

Check the cats ( catalytic converters) sounds like the media is failing in them.
