Clicking in front 30 differential

Noticed today when front is jacked up and Jeep in in neutral there is a clicking noise in the front differential when I spin the tire. Normal??

Sounds like it has a locker installed. If you didn't put it in there somebody did. Pull the cover off and find out.

Indeed unless you have lockout hubs to disengage the front axles.
