Coleman stove propane adapter?

I bought this old coleman stove for $20. It runs on propane and unleaded gas. But it didnt come with the propane adapter.

Can anyone post a link or model number to the part i need?

Id also like to be able to hook it up to my fullsize barbecue propane tank. Is there another adapter for that?

That stove is white gas and regular unleaded although I'd run it on only white gas. You need a propane stove, converting that one is kind of a waste.

Edit: white gas is much better overall, you can get it at walmart pretty cheap, I collect and restore the older ones

The guy i bought it from said it just needed the "propane converter". I see several online. But wasnt sure which one.

I guess if it only dies white gas its still not a bad deal for $20. Lol

You can definitely get a propane converter, it replaces the long thing with the orange red cap at the end and has a propane valve on it. The adapters can cost more than a good propane stove on craigslist. $20 bucks is great for what you got. That white gas stove will last ages on a one gallon can of white gas. Many more than a BBQ tank. White gas is also about $10 vs $20 for the propane. Personally you'll be better off if you get a cheap harbor freight funnel, can of white gas and learn how to use that thing. They are good stuff, so much better than propane in my opinion.

If it's rated for regular unleaded....why is it not as good as white gas ? Does it react or burn differently ?? curious.....thanks

It burns dirty so you have to clean the generator pretty often or just plain replace it when it clogs. Pump gas is dirty as hell. If you use white gas it'll last 100 years and still light like it was new.

Wow. Good to know. I will get some white gas and a funnel. Cant wait to play with it.
